Lifting Operations
Load Attachment: The load is attached to the hook block using slings, chains, or other appropriate lifting devices. The load is secured properly to ensure stability during lifting.
Lifting: The operator uses the controls in the operator cab to activate the hoisting mechanism, which raises the load off the ground. The operator carefully monitors the lifting operation to ensure safety and proper load positioning.
Slewing and Trolley Operations: Once the load is raised to the desired height, the operator may use the slewing and trolley mechanisms to position the load accurately. The slewing mechanism allows the crane to rotate horizontally, while the trolley mechanism enables horizontal movement along the jib.
Placement: The operator, with the assistance of signalpersons or riggers on the ground, guides the load to its intended location. The load is lowered with precision and placed securely at the designated spot.
